Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica in Photos
Puerto Viejo is a sleepy little beach town on the Caribbean coast known for its intense surf, laid-back attitude, and reggae-loving inhabitants. Even though most tourists tend to stick to the top destinations on the Pacific coastline, Puerto Viejo is by far one of my favorite places in Costa Rica – there’s just something kind of surreal about it.
The stray dogs are super friendly, but the locals are even more easy going! It’s hard not to fall in love with the peaceful pace of life in this town, despite the air being so thick with humidity you can practically see it.
It might even turn you into a believer of pura vida
